CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Mission Statement

The Christian Education Ministry's mission is to provide Bible-based, age appropriate Christian education courses of study in the following areas: Sunday School, Bible Study, Nursery and Vacation Bible School. We also assist and nurture the scholarship committee as they encourage high school graduates to further their education by attending college. 

Vision Statement

To encourage every member of Lighthouse Baptist Church to become enrolled and actively participate in at least one of the Christian education courses; i.e. Sunday School, Bible Study, Nursery and Vacation Bible School. To continually raise up and train new teachers for service. To establish a church where Christian education is at the forefront. To be a church that realizes that "We know as much about God, as we know about his word".

Bible Study Mission Statement

Lighthouse Baptist Church Bible Study mission, is to have everyone that attends, to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Students are able to learn, share and explore the Word of God in an age appropriate setting. Our desire is for the Scriptures to make one self wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus and to use the teaching in their every day life.

Michelle Parker Scholarship Fund

The youth of Lighthouse Baptist Church are our future. The Scholarship committee is committed to investing in their future. We do this by recognizing, acknowledging, and promoting their academic excellence through Christian principles.
